Get Ready For LCO 2023

It’s time (once again) to Raise Your Koalas – Split 1, 2023 of the LCO is set to begin next Monday, featuring the best League of Legends teams from around Oceania. With some new faces in Team Bliss and Ground Zero Gaming this split – there’s no telling how these new arrivals might shake up the standings.
Season Format
We’re shaking things up with our format this Split -read on below to find out how it’ll all play out.
Round Robin (Stage 1) Bo1 stage – all teams play each other once in order to get seeding for the Group Stage (Stage 2)
Group Stage (Stage 2) – Based off of the Round Robin results each team will be placed into either Group A or B (4 teams per group). They will play in a double-elimination bracket until we get the top 2 from each group.
Group A seedings from Stage 1- 1st – 3rd – 6th – 8th
Group B seedings from Stage 1 – 2nd – 4th – 5th – 7th
Finals – The top 4 will play in a double elimination bracket until we have our top 2 teams, who will qualify into the PCS playoffs
That’s right – we’ve got an in to the PCS playoffs this Split, offering up two opportunities for our local teams to face off against international competition. We look forward to cheering on our OCE representatives at the end of the split.

This Split, you can catch all the LCO action on Twitch, as per usual. Head over to twitch.tv/lco on Mondays, Tuesdays, and most Wednesdays (we’ve got a lot of super-weeks this Split!) to watch the action broadcast live from the ESL Sydney studios.
