Peace Schedule Update – Week 1

Published on Jan 23, 2023

Hello LCO Fans,

As we prepare for the start of the LCO in 2023, we’ve got some updates to share regarding the January 23rd and 24th matches between Peace and Kanga Esports, and Peace and Mammoth Esports Club.

All teams are required to submit the appropriate player documentation to the league for each member of their roster, in order for each of those players to be considered eligible. One such document is a valid document that demonstrates the players’ right-to-work within the Oceanic country they reside in order to be eligible to play. Peace have failed to do so for a number of players and as such do not meet the minimum roster requirements for the league. As a result, Peace are required to forfeit their matches against Kanga Esports and Mammoth Esports Club for Week 1 of the LCO Split 1 in 2023.

League staff are working with Peace in order to ensure the team has the valid documentation for eligibility in future weeks. This will be determined pending the submissions of the appropriate documentation.

Peace’s games will be moved to the end of the day and skipped for Week 1. We’ve updated the schedule on lolesports.com for your reference.

Thanks – and we’ll see you tonight for the first matches of the LCO in 2023!
-The LCO Team
